Beijing airports: PEK and PKX
If your itinerary says Beijing, look for the airport code too. PEK means Beijing Capital International Airport; PKX means Beijing Daxing International Airport. FlyGamma has a separate observation record for each.
Which Beijing airport should I open?
Use the code printed on your booking or flight confirmation. A result for PEK cannot stand in for PKX, even when both are described as Beijing. If you are meeting someone or planning a connection, confirm the exact airport with the airline before travelling.
Compare the two published records
- PEK · Beijing CapitalObserved flights, destinations and airlines
- PKX · Beijing DaxingObserved flights, destinations and airlines
Each airport page states its own observation window. Differences in the records reflect what the feed saw, not a complete comparison of airport traffic or scheduled service.
Can FlyGamma confirm today's flight?
The published airport records are dated observations. For a current check, search a flight number on the live map; availability depends on the feed. If nothing appears, ask the airline or airport for the authoritative status.
PEK and PKX are different airports. Always use the code on the booking for travel decisions.
