Shanghai airports: PVG and SHA

Shanghai has two distinct airports in FlyGamma's records. PVG is Shanghai Pudong International Airport, while SHA is Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport. Choose the code that appears on the actual flight.

Why the code matters

A search for “Shanghai” can refer to either airport. Reading a PVG observation when the ticket says SHA can give the wrong impression about destinations or airlines. Check the airport code before opening a board, arranging a pickup or comparing a connection.

Open the matching airport record

FlyGamma's records have a stated date range and cover sightings in the feed. They do not list every flight scheduled from either airport.

Looking for a particular flight?

Use the flight number on the live map rather than assuming a city-level result is your service. A missing feed report is not evidence of cancellation; check directly with the airline or airport when timing matters.

PVG and SHA are different airports. The three-letter code on your booking is the safest starting point.
